How to read the boards

The skill board uses the effects printed on each skill. Immunity to boss skills outranks raw damage because Enzo's skills end runs. Two skills sit one grade below the board chart, and that disagreement is written on the row. Rods are grouped by whether the listed stats are a trap, a balanced buy, or a craft worth the Gems. Traits follow the published odds bands.

FAQ

[🐉UPD] Heavyweight Fishing ranking questions

How are skills graded?

Skills are graded from listed effects, with boss-skill immunity first, stun length second, and rod-Power buffs third. Rarity is not a bonus. Nine skills have a board grade and no published effect text, so their letter is the board grade only.

Is the S-tier rod the only rod to buy?

No. Maoshan Rod has the highest Power. Heaven Piercer has the best published Power-plus-Luck among crafts. The board is a buying aid, not a single winner.
